Timberlawn's
Dual Diagnosis Program Dual Diagnosis Philosophy: Studies show that the incidence of addictive disorders in psychiatric patients is high. Combining the treatment of chemical dependency and a psychiatric illness can result in a more positive outcome. Matching patients to specific treatment plans requires sophisticated understanding of the nature of the disorder of drugs and abuse. Timberlawn's Dual Diagnosis Program adheres to an integrated approach, in which the problems are addressed simultaneously. This means acknowledging the complex relationships between the dual problems, as well as creating a unique, integrated and long-term treatment plan for each patient. Treatment Program We provide a specialized treatment team with expertise in addictionology, psychopathology, and psychopharmacology.
Inpatient, Partial, Intensive Outpatient, and Traditional Outpatient services are available. This holistic approach to treatment can maximize prevention by understanding the nature of the addiction, the psychopathology, and by matching specific treatments to individual patients.
